Sensors and Code in Space

Developed by Raspberry Pi Foundation
Orbiting Earth on the International Space Station, there are two Raspberry Pi computers outfitted with various sensors. These computers are running code, collecting data, transmitting information to Earth and interacting with the flight crew.  In this course, students will assemble will assemble and program their own "Astro Pi" unit for their use here on Earth.  It can detect temperature, humidity, pressure, movement and visualize information on an LED matrix. Students will code their own experiments and design applications that they'd want to see run in space.
